The text of the petition to be sent to the Prime Minister:

 

To the honorable Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, please do not renew the mandate of TIPH - the Temporary International Presence in Hebron.

 

The organization promotes de-legitimization against the State of Israel and IDF soldiers, creates deliberate friction with residents and soldiers, and in the past has attacked Jewish soldiers, residents and children. TIPH has been active for over 20 years, causing damage to the Jewish community of Hebron and the IDF soldiers stationed there. The continuation of their mandate bolsters the activities of the countries that finance this anti-Israel mission in Hebron.

11 reasons to send TIPH home

 

1. In 2010, Israel's Foreign Ministry denounced the observers' team and said that they deviated from the powers granted to them and were acting unilaterally against Israel.
2. On June 11, 2011, observers from the organization attacked an IDF soldier.
3. On July 13, 2018, the TIPH legal advisor was documented assaulting a 10-year-old Jewish boy from Hebron during a tour led by Breaking the Silence. He was removed from the country by the organization's leadership, without being put on trial in Israel.
4. On July 23, 2018, an observer working for TIPH was caught slashing the tires of  a car owned by a Jewish resident of Hebron. Here too, the activist was removed from the country by the organization's leadership, without being put on trial in Israel.
5. TIPH's anti-Israel bias is built into its mandate, which gives it a unilateral mission to "create a sense of security" for the Palestinian Arabs in Hebron. Protecting Jews from the constant attacks against them is not part of their job definition.
6. According to press reports, TIPH claims that Jews have no right to be in Hebron.
7. Almost all five countries (Norway, Sweden, Turkey, Italy and Switzerland) from with TIPH members come from, are problematic and often hostile to Israel:
8. Turkey acts as an enemy of Israel. Ankara actively supports Hamas and uses anti-Israel slurs, disseminates anti-Semitic slander and works against Israel in East Jerusalem. Despite this, Israel allows Turkish policemen to walk around with official immunity and photograph Israeli soldiers and civilians. When the TIPH agreement was first created, Erdogan was the mayor of Istanbul. Since then, he has risen to power and turned his country into a hostile Islamic state.
9. Sweden became the first European country to recognize the "State of Palestine,” a move done in contravention to the Oslo Accords. Israel only scolded the Swedes, but allowed its "observers" to remain in Hebron.
10. Norway, which holds the most weight in TIPH, is one of the largest donors to the BDS movement.
11. Italy helped build the illegal outpost of Khan al-Ahmar and was involved in the violation of Israeli sovereignty in Area C
