Petition to Revive The Originals – Season 6
We, the fans of The Originals, respectfully but firmly call upon you to revive the series for a sixth season that will repair and redefine the controversial ending of Season 5.
The finale of The Originals was not simply tragic — it was emotionally devastating in a way that felt disconnected from the soul of the show. A series built on family, redemption, and enduring love concluded with rushed sacrifices and permanent deaths that erased years of character growth.
The final deaths of Klaus Mikaelson, Elijah Mikaelson, and Hayley Marshall did not feel like meaningful closure. Instead, they felt unnecessary, abrupt, and unfaithful to the journeys these characters — and the audience — had taken together.
Why does this matter?
The Originals remains one of the most beloved series in the Vampire Diaries universe
Its fanbase is still active, passionate, and vocal
The show explored timeless themes of broken families, moral choice, healing, and hope
