חלקכם מכיר את הפסוק הזה, האם הרהרתם בו פעם?

מה שקורה בסוריה צריך לעורר את שאר העולם כולל אותנו, האם הטבח שעושים שם שונה מרצח עם?

האם השתיקה של שאר העולם אינו מדאיג אתכם? אנו שגדלנו על סיפורי הזוועות של השואה צריכים להזדעזע ממה שקורה בחצר האחורית שלנו.

 

אני קורא מכאן לכול אחד ואחת מכם הרימו את קולכם והביעו את הזעזוע ממה שקורה בסוריה. נכון, היא נחשבת לאויבתה המושבעת של מדינת ישראל, אבל האם זה לא מה שמייחד אותנו מעמים אחרים, האכפתיות! האנושיות! מידת הרחמים!

 

בכול שנה בטקסים אנו עומדים דום, לזכר קורבנות השואה חוזרים ואומרים "לא עוד!" האם שתיקתנו היא סתירה לאמירה זאת? חשבו על כך.

הראו לשאר העולם שאדם הוא אדם באשר הוא גם אם מדובר באויבכם.
