נושא: עצומה להגינות לאומית: הארכת האבל והסדרת תכני הטלוויזיה, הספורט והמדיה

בעקבות האירועים הטרגיים ב-7 באוקטובר, נצפתה עלייה הדרגתית בתוכן שטחי וקל דעת בטלוויזיה ובתקשורת, שעלולה לדלל את הזיכרון הקולקטיבי שלנו מהזוועות והחומרה של אותו יום גורלי. אנו פונים בכבוד לרשויות, לתקשורת ולציבור להאריך את תקופת האבל הלאומית כדי לכבד את החיים שאבדו, ואת בני הערובה המעונים בשבי בעזה, עד שכולם שחרור אחרון החטופים.

מתוך הכרה בנקודת המפנה של ישראל, אנו מבקשים בהכנעה ובדחיפות את הדברים הבאים:

להאריך את תקופת האבל: להכריז ולקיים תקופת אבל לאומית תוך שמירה על פיכחון וכבוד, תוך צמצום שידור תכני בידור ,תקשורת וספורט, כולל תוכניות ריאליטי ותכני תקשורת העלולים להדחיק את חומרת המצב הלאומי הנוכחי.

סקירת תוכן טלוויזיה ומדיה: יש ליישם אמצעים לסקירה ולוויסות תוכן, תוך הקפדה על התאמה לחומרת המצב.

הסדרת פרסומות בטלוויזיה ובמדיה: באמצעות רגולטור שיבטיח שפרסומות בטלוויזיה ובתקשורת בתקופה זו משקפות את חומרת המצב, תוך הימנעות מכל קלות דעת, וטונים תוססים או לא מתאימים.

הפגנת סולידריות אזרחית: על ידי הימנעות הדרגתית מגילויי שטחיות פומביים בטלוויזיה ובתקשורת. הדגש אמפתיה קולקטיבית וחגיגיות, תוך הכרה בכוחות המסכנים את חייהם למען ביטחוננו.

מסעות פרסום למודעות ציבורית: יזום קמפיינים כדי לחנך את הציבור על ההשפעה של תוכן טלוויזיה ומדיה בלתי הולם בתקופות משבר, תוך טיפוח אווירה רצינית המכבדת את החיים שאבדו, את השבויים ואת החיילים שלנו.

אנו מפצירים לנהוג בהגינות לאומית קולקטיבית תוך טיפוח סביבה המכבדת את חומרת המצב הנוכחי ומתעדפת את רווחת האומה שלנו על פני רגעים חולפים של בידור.

זה מפתה להמשיך הלאה. אבל זה גם חסר אחריות, חסר כבוד, ומסוכן.

Petition for National Decency: Extend Mourning and Regulate TV and Media Content

In the aftermath of the tragic events on October 7th, a gradual rise in superficial and frivolous content on television and media has been observed, potentially diluting our collective memory of the solemnity and severity of that fateful day. We respectfully appeal to authorities, media, and the public to extend the national mourning period to honor the lives lost, particularly those who are held hostage and were murdered in Gaza.

Recognizing Israel's pivotal moment, we, the undersigned, humbly request the following:

Extend Mourning Period: Declare and observe a year-long national mourning period, upholding sobriety, decorum, and respect, while curtailing the gradual influx of entertainment, including reality shows, and media content that may undermine the gravity of the current national situation.

Review TV and Media Content: Implement measures to review and regulate content, ensuring it aligns with the severity of the situation. Gradually minimize or suspend programs, especially reality shows, and media content that may be deemed frivolous or disrespectful.

Regulate TV and Media Advertisements: Institute measures to ensure advertisements on TV and media during this period reflect the gravity of the situation, avoiding any lively or incongruent tones.

Promote Responsible Behavior: Encourage citizens to uphold a sense of decency and demonstrate solidarity by gradually refraining from public displays of comicality and superficiality on TV and media. Emphasize collective empathy and solemnity, acknowledging the troops risking their lives for our safety.

Public Awareness Campaigns: Initiate campaigns to educate the public on the impact of inappropriate TV and media content during times of crisis, fostering a serious atmosphere that respects the lives lost, those who are held hostage, the captives, and our troops.

We hope our sincere plea for national decency will be considered, fostering an environment that respects the gravity of the current situation and prioritizes the well-being of our nation over fleeting moments of entertainment.
