שטחים ציבוריים בשיינפלד - חלוקה Giving Away Public Space in Sheinfeld

It has come to our attention that the City of Bet Shemesh intends to allocate land in the Sheinfeld neighborhood to the Uv’neh organization for the purpose of creating a welfare facility that will be a center for the rehabilitation of youth who have left the chareidi community and also distribute welfare services.

We, residents of the Sheinfeld neighborhood, object to this allocation and request that the allocation be cancelled. 

:The reasons we object to the allocation are as follows

 That land parcel is the last undeveloped brown (public use building) in the neighborhood.  It should be reserved for a uses that are needed by the neighborhood residents (youth movement center, synagogue, etc.).

The planned facility will primarily serve people, mostly Chareidim, from outside the neighborhood.  There are many parcels outside of our neighborhood, in Chareidi neighborhoods, which are better suited for the planned facility.

The planned facility will lead to heavy traffic of people from outside the neighborhood into our area. In general, this will upset the tranquility of the neighborhood and in particular it will cause the area around the kindergartens to become very crowded.

Therefore, we the undersigned, request that the allocation be canceled and that a new allocation be made which more closely matches the needs of the residents of the neighborhood

הובא לידיעתנו על כוונת העריה להקצות את המגרש הגובל בישיבת ראשית והחניון ליד הגנים בשכונת שיינפלד לארגון "ובנה" העוסק במלאכת החזרת נוער חרדי למוטב (לימוד מקצוע) ועזרה למשפחות נזקקות. מטרת ההקצאה היא הקמת מרכז אשר ישמש את הארגון ולקוחותיו.

אני מתנגדים להקצאה הזו מהסיבות המנויות להלן:

• מגרש זה הינו המגרש החום האחרון הנותר בשכונה וראוי יותר שמגרש זה ישמש את הקהילה כמו עוד מבנה לסניף תנועת נוער או בית כנסת נוסף או כל שימוש ציבורי אחר המצאים למרקם השכונתי.
• הארגון המוצע ישרת בעיקר תושבים משכונות אחרות וראוי יותר שהמבנה ימוקם בשכונה אותה הוא משרת.
• המבנה המוצע יפר את השקט הקהילתי והביא לתנועה מוגברת על ציר אחורי שלא נועד לתחבורה מוגברת.

אי לכך אנו תושבי שכונת שיינפלד מתנגדים להקצאה הנ"ל ודורשים שמגרש זה יישמר לצורכי השכונה.
