עצומה נגד תחנת הפחם המתוכננת באשקלון

גם אני, החתום מטה, מתנגד להקמת תחנת כוח פחמית נוספת. תחנה שורפת פחם מזהמת את האוויר, הים, הקרקע ומי התהום. מלבד הנזק המקומי, הפחם הינו הגורם העיקרי לשינויי האקלים. פוטנציאל אנרגיית השמש של ישראל הינו בלתי נדלה ומחובתה של הממשלה לאמץ טכנולוגיות לייצור אנרגיה מתחדשת, בד בבד לנקוט בצעדים לשימור אנרגיה. I, the undersigned, object to the construction of another coal power plant. A coal power plant pollutes the air, sea and land. Apart from the local damage, the carbon is the main couse to climate change. The potential of Israel�s solar energy is inexhaustible and it is the goverment�s responsability to embrace technologies which generate renewable energy and at the same time take steps to save energy.
