זה לא יעבוד ללא אולטימטום

ברק אובמה היקר. אנו תושבי ישראל החתומים מטה, מודעים ליכולתם של מנהיגינו ליבש תהליכים ולהאשים אחרים בהתדרדרותם. אנא ממך, הבע זאת בפשטות, ללא שיחות, ללא נאומים, ללא כנסים:

"תמשיכו לבנות בשטחים הכבושים – נעצור את הסיוע."

אנו החיים פה, הסובלים יום יום מאזלת ידן של ממשלותינו להביא לסיום הסכסוך, מאלימות המתפשטת בחברה, מהשקעה מזערית בחינוך ובבריאות, מהידרדרות מוסרית ופגיעה בשכנינו, צריכים אותך, כי על עצמנו שוב איננו יכולים לסמוך.  אנו קוראים לך להיות חזק מול הכוחות הניצים בארצך ובארצינו ולהביא לפתרון הסכסוך.

 

It will not happen without an ultimatum!

Dear Barack Obama. We, the citizens of Israel signed below, are aware of the ability of our leaders to dry processes and accuse others in their termination. Please say it simply, without meetings, speeches nor conferences: "Continue to build in the occupied territories – we shall stop the American aid." We that live here, who suffer every day from the incompetence of our governments to end the conflict, from violence spreading in Israeli society, from minimal investment in education and health, from moral deterioration and from reflecting damage to our neighbors, need you, because we can not trust ourselves anymore. We encourage you to be strong against the aggressive forces in your country and ours and solve the conflict.
