צורך מיידי בסיום בניית פארק ארנונה למרגלות ארנונה וואלי וחלומות רמת רחל

אנו החתומים מטה, מבקשים בזאת להמשיך באופן מיידי את בניית הפארק החדש בארנונה הממוקם למרגלות ארנונה וואלי וחלומות רמת רחל, ולסיים את הפרויקט המתוכנן כמובטח לתושבים ללא דיחוי נוסף.אנו פונים בזאת לעיריית ירושלים כדי לדרוש מהיזמים את המשך העבודה במקום כפי שהתחייבו לכך כתנאי לבניית מאות הדירות החדשות שנבנו בסמוך לפארק, וכפי שהבטיחו לנו לפני שנים רבות.אנו מבקשים לעשות כל מאמץ להתחשב באופיו הטבעי של הפארק והעמק, ההיסטוריה והגיאוגרפיה של המקום הכולל שפע עצים, מגוון רחב של צמחים ובית גידול לבעלי חיים. במקום נתגלו אתרים ארכיאולוגיים בעלי חשיבות כולל חלקים מאמת מים בת 2,000 שנה אשר נקברו במהלך הבנייה הכושלת של הפארק. על היזמים לגלות אחריות ולגלות אתרים אלו מחדש תוך שילובם כחלק בלתי נפרד ממנו.אנו, תושבים הגרים בסמוך לפארק (ארנונה וואלי וחלומות רמת רחל), רכשנו את הדירות שלנו במקום בידיעה שלמרגלות ביתנו ימוקם הפארק היפהפה אלא שכבר יותר משלוש שנים עברו, והמקום הינו אתר בנייה נטוש ומוזנח. אנו, תושבי השכונות הסמוכות לפארק (ארנונה, תלפיות, ארמון הנציב וארנונה הצעירה) זקוקים נואשות לפארק ציבורי פתוח וטבעי השומר על היופי וההיסטוריה של העיר שלנו.חיכינו מספיק זמן ולא נעשה דבר - אנא סיימו את פארק ארנונה בהקדם האפשרי לטובת כולנו!We, the undersigned, demand that work resume immediately on the new park in Arnona, and the project be completed without further delay. We call upon the Municipality of Jerusalem to require all responsible parties to complete the park, as they were obligated to do as a condition for the city allowing them to build hundreds of new apartments near the park.  When completed, we expect that this unique valley park retain its natural, historical, and geographical character, and include an abundance of trees, a variety of plants, and habitat for wildlife.  We also expect that the ancient archeological sites, including sections of a 2,000 year old aqueduct that were recently buried during the failed construction of the park, be uncovered and preserved. These ancient sites are an integral part of the park and must be incorporated into the final plan.   We, the residents bordering the park (especially Arnona Valley and Ramat Rachel Dreams), affirm that we purchased our apartments based on the promise that there would soon be a finished park outside of our window.  More than 3 years have passed, and the park area still remains an abandoned construction site that is completely unusable and inaccessible. We, the residents of Jerusalem, especially from the neighborhoods of Arnona, Talpiyot, and Armon HaNatziv, need a public park that is open, natural, and maintains the beauty and history of our city. We've waited long enough - please finish Park Arnona! (The following video is from 3/2013.
