Establish Israel's first national roller sports competition center

We, the undersigned, call for the establishment of a competition standard roller / bmx / scooter facility in the city of Haifa, designed to serve as Israel's premier high performance center for Roller Freestyle, BMX, and Freestyle Scootering, This facility would be its first of its kind in the State of Israel, providing athletes with the infrastructure necessary to train, compete, and develop their skills at the highest international level. 

Haifa, Israel's largest northern city and a strategic hub for SkateIsrael, WorldSkate, and the Ayelet Federation, is the ideal location for this facility. This city is home to the Federation founders and a strong local community of athletes, coaches, and supporters, making it the natural center for national roller sports development. 

Currently, Israeli athletes face a significant challenge: to learn advanced tricks and maneuvers and to develop competition-ready skills, they must travel abroad, incurring high financial costs and logistical burdens. While international facilities are valuable, they do not allow consistent, year-round, structured training. Without access to proper competition - standard infrastructure at home, our athletes are unable to train with the same consistency and intensity as their global peers. 

A dedicated indoor high performance center in Haifa would address this gap by offering:

Competition standard training areas replicating international specifications for Roller Freestyle, BMX, Freestyle Scootering. 

Year-round, climate-controlled access, ensuring athletes can train safely and consistently regardless of weather conditions. 

Facilities designed for national and international competitions, allowing Israel to host events, promote the sport domestically, and increase exposure to global talent. 

Youth development programs, encouraging the next generation of athletes to engage in healthy, structured sports activities. 

A central hub for SkateIsrael, WorldSkate, and the Ayelet Federation, consolidating training, coaching, and event management under one professional roof. 

This facility is more than a recreational park. It is critical infrastructure for Israel's Olympic disciplines and international competitive ambitions. By building a competition-standard indoor roller sports center in Haifa, we can: 

Reduce the need for athletes to travel abroad for training. 

Strengthen Israel's national teams and international competitiveness. 

Foster community engagement, youth participation, and safe training environments. 

Postiton Haifa as the national hub for Roller Sports excellence.

We urge the Haifa Municipality, the Ministry of Culture and Sport, and all relevant authorities to prioritize and support the construction of this facility. With proper planning and investment, Haifa can become the cornerstone of Israel's roller sports future, ensuring our athletes have the infrastructure, support, and environment they need to succeed at the highest levels.
