כאזרחי ישראל אנו מביעים את תמיכתנו המלאה בעם המצרי הנאבק עבור זכויותיו ועתידו. אנו מלאי השראה ממילוניי המצרים שיצאו לרחובות על-מנת להפיל את שלטונו של העריץ מובארק ואנו מייחלים ליום שבו גם אנו נזכה לראות ולקחת חלק במאבק עממי כנגד השחיתות של מנהיגנו ולמען עתידנו המשותף.

אנו מצהירים, באופן חד משמעי, שממשלת ישראל איננה מדברת בשמנו בתמיכתה בדיקטטורה המצרית, ושאיננו שותפים לעמדתה הכללית בכל מה שקשור לחירות ושוויון בישראל/פלסטין ובשאר המזרח התיכון. אנו רואים במחאה של העם המצרי חלק ממאבק כולל למען מזרח תיכון שבו קולות וצרכיי האוכלוסייה קודמים לפריווילגיות והשחיטות של מנהיגנו.

כולנו תקווה שנזכה לראות בעתיד הקרוב מזרח תיכון ועולם חופשי, שוויוני, ונעדר מכל הפליה דתית, לאומית או מינית.

نحن، الموقعين أدناه، مجموعة من الإسرائيليين، نعبر عن دعمنا الكامل للشعب المصري الذي يناضل من أجل حقوقه ومستقبله. إن ثورة الملايين من الشعب المصري، الذين خرجوا إلى الشوارع لإسقاط نظام الطاغي حسني مبارك، تزدنا إلهامًا وإيمانا بأنه سيأتي ذلك اليوم الذي سنشهد فيه هبة شعبية مماثلة ضد الفساد المتفشي عند رؤساءنا ومن أجل مستقبلنا المشترك.

نصرح بذلك، أن موقف الحكومة الإسرائيلية الداعم للدكتاتورية في مصر لا يمثل موقفنا، و كذلك الأمر بالنسبة لكافة مواقف الحكومة في كل ما يتعلق بالحرية، المساواة وتحقيق السلام في فلسطين\إسرائيل والشرق الأوسط. إن ثورة الشعب المصري جزء لا يتجزأ من النضال الشامل من أجل إحداث التغيير في الشرق الأوسط؛ من أجل اليوم الذي فيه مطالب وحاجات الشعوب هي التي تقر منحى السياسات، وليس الفساد والامتيازات.

كلنا أمل بأن يتحقق في المستقبل القريب شرق أوسط حر، تعم فيه المساواة، بدون أي تمييزعلى أساس عرقي، ديني، قومي أو جنسي.

 As Israeli citizens we declare our full support for the Egyptian people struggling for their rights and future. We are greatly inspired by the millions of Egyptians protesting  to bring down the dictatorship of Mubarak and wish to soon see the day when we too are a part of a popular struggle against the corruption of our leaders and for our joint Israeli-Palestinian future.

We unequivocally declare that the government of Israel does not speak in our name in its support of the Egyptian dictatorship and that we do not share its position in all matters concerning freedom and equality in Israel/Palestine and the rest of the Middle East. We view the uprising of the Egyptian people as part of a wider struggle for a Middle East where the needs of the population are at the forefront and not the corruption and privilege of our leaders.

We are all hopeful to soon see a Middle East, and world, that is free, equal and without religious, ethnic  and sexual discrimination.
