בשם האחריות המשותפת שלנו לפעולות צה"ל אנו, קבוצה של אזרחים, פונה במפגיע לראש הממשלה, לשר הביטחון ולרמטכ"ל בדרישה להורות לחיל האוויר, לחיל השריון ולחיל התותחנים להפסיק מייד בטיווח מטרות צבאיות סמוכות לבתי ספר, בתי חולים, ומקומות מפלט של עקורים. גם להרג מסיבי לא מכוון, החוזר ונשנה, של ילדים נשים ואזרחים שאינם לוחמים אין צידוק אנושי. אל לנו לשתף פעולה עם חמאס בהפקרת אזרחים לאש צה"ל. מי שחושב ששפיכות הדמים הזאת היא כורח בטחוני התורם לביטחון ישראל ולעתיד יחסי ישראל עם שכניה הערבים אינו ראוי להנהיג ולפקד.

In the name of our shared responsibility for the actions of our army we, a group of Israeli citizens, demand that the Prime Minister, the Defense Minister and the Chief of Staff instruct the army and especially the air force to immediately stop attacking and shelling military targets situated close to hospitals and schools that serve as shelters to children, women, wounded persons and other civilians who have lost their homes in the war. There is no human justification for repeated collateral killing of defenseless civilians. We should not collaborate with Hamas in its deliberate exposure of children, women and defenseless civilians to the shells of our army. Whoever thinks that such bloodshed contributes to Israel’s security and its future relations with our neighbors cannot lead or command.
