מגרש בייסבול חדש לרעננה

The Honorable Mayor of Raanana Mr. Zeev Bielski,

We, the undersigned residents of Raanana, express our support for the initiative by the Israel Association of Baseball (IAB) to establish a new baseball facility in Raanana for the use of local youth teams as well as to host national and international games and tournaments.  

Youth baseball has been one of the many appealing features of Raanana for more than 20 years and has enjoyed the full support of the city officials throughout this period (including your previous administration).  As the current field will soon no longer be available, we request that the City provide an alternative site, especially since the major development costs of the new fields will be borne through the IAB with the assistance of prominent donors from the community and abroad.  In addition to baseball, the facility could be used for other youth sports programs and city events.

We urge you to support this important investment for the future of our children and grandchildren and of this wonderful city we call home.

אנו החתומים מטה, תומכים ביוזמת האיגוד הישראלי לבייסבול (ע"ר), להקמת מתקן בייסבול חדש ברעננה לשימוש ילדי רעננה ולאירוח טורנירים לאומיים ובין לאומיים.

פעילות איגוד הבייסבול בעיר הינה אחת מהפעילויות המועדפות על הנוער בעיר רעננה, פעילות אשר נהנת מתמיכתה של העירייה במשך תקופה ארוכה של כ20 שנה (לרבות תמיכתך שלך במהלך כהונתן הקודמת בראשות העירייה).

לצערנו, השימוש במתקן הקיים ייאסר בקרוב עקב ייעוד שטח לצורכי מגורים ובניה.

אי לכך אנו מבקשים ממך להקצות לנו שטח חדש להקמת מתקן לבייסבול.  עלות המתקן תמומן ע"י תורמים מקומיים – תושבי רעננה, ותורמים מחו"ל הדואגים לעתיד ענף הבייסבול ככלל לנוער ברעננה בפרט. 

אנו פונים אליך בכל לשון של בקשה לתמוך ביוזמה זו- כהשקעה בעתיד ילדינו ונכדינו ומען עתידה של העיר רעננה היקרה לכולנו.
