תושבי ארנונה הצעירה מחזירים את הכח לידי התושבים ומצטרפים לעמותת השכונה

אנו תושבי ארנונה הצעירה והתומכים ברעיון אשר החלטנו לממש את זכותנו הלגיטימית להתאגד ולפעול תחת עמותת “קהילת ארנונה הצעירה” המוקמת בימים אלו לצורך זה ממש. העמותה מיוסדת כפועל יוצא של עצומת “ארנונה הצעירה נלחמים על הבית” עליה חתמו כ150 תושבי השכונה מתוך רצון להחזיר את הכח להחליט בכל ענייני השכונה הרלוונטים לידי התושבים עצמם. הקמת העמותה מבוססת על הרעיון הבסיסי כי שכונת ארנונה הצעירה הינה שכונה עצמאית בעלת גוון וצרכים משלה. העמותה מוקמת ע”י התושבים, לטובתם ותנוהל על ידם, בה לכל תושב ותושבת השכונה תינתן הזכות לבחור ולהיבחר לועדי השכונה השונים אשר יפעלו במסגרת העמותה

בשלב הראשון והמיידי בכוונתנו להציע עצמנו לעיריית ירושלים כאלטרנטיבה לגיטימית לזכייה במבנה בית הכנסת (מעל המקווה) ברחוב בן דור אשר נבנה בכספי ציבור שלנו ולטובתנו והעומד כיום למכרז ציבורי הפתוח לכל (מועד סופי להגשת מועמדות: 24 למרץ!). בהמשך, במידה ויהיה הדבר רלוונטי בכוונתנו להציע עצמנו אף לניהול פעילויות התרבות וההעשרה בהתאם לצרכי התושבים אשר יתקיימו במבנה הרב תכליתי ברחוב ישראל אלדד. אנו דתיים וחילונים, עולים וצברים, מבוגרים וצעירים, מבני עדות המזרח ומבני עדות אשכנז המודעים לכך כי ארנונה הצעירה הינה שכונה רב גונית ויש בה מקום לכולם מתוך תפיסה כי כולנו יחד בונים ומכילים את השלם. בשכונה שני מבני ציבור בלבד אשר נועדו בראש ובראשונה לשרת אותנו התושבים וע”כ החלטנו לקחת אחריות שכונתית ולבנות את חיי הקהילה בעצמנו כל זמן שהדבר עוד אפשרי

Residents of Arnona Hatzeira take responsibility for our own neighborhood and join "Kehilat Arnona Hatzeira" organizationWe, Arnona Hatzeira residents and supporters who decided to fulfil our legitimate right to gather and act under “Kehilat Arnona Hatzeira” non profit organization (‘Amuta’) which is being formed these days for this specific purpose. This Amuta is formed as a result of the recent petition “Arnona Hatzeira residents fight for their home” which was signed by about 150 residents due to the immediate essential need to bring back the power to decide to the residents themselves in anything related to our own neighborhood. This Amuta is based on the basic idea that Arnona Hatzeira is an independent neighborhood with its own characteristics and needs. The Amuta is formed by the residents, for their sake and will be managed by them. Every resident will have the option to elect and be elected to the various committees which will act through it in order for us to have an impact on our own neighborhoodThe very first step is to present ourselves to the Jerusalem Municipality as a legitimate alternative for completing and managing the Shul building (above the Mikva) on Ben Dor street. The building was built by public money and is currently open for new applications (deadline: March 24!). In addition, as soon as it will be relevant we are planning to present ourselves to manage the Multi Cultural bulding on Israel Eldad street as well, for cultural activities according to the residents’ needs and requests. We, residents of religious and secular backgrounds, immigrants and sabras, adults and youth, Sephardi and Ashkenazi who are aware of the unique diversity of Arnona Hatzeira and believe that there is room for everyone as we are all part of the whole. In our neighborhood 2 buildings only which first of all should serve the residents themselves, therefore we have decided to take responsibility and build our own community life in the hood while we still can
